Finance Minister KNUBHAI DESAI has presented the state's budget for the year 205-2 in the House, in which he made important announcements regarding the farmers of the state.

Announcing the importance of farmers, the Finance Minister of the Bhupendra Patel government said that a new scheme has been announced to provide interest subsidy to farmers for RABI as well as summer crops in the coming period.
Government of Gujarat is active in increasing the income of farmers
Stating that the government is active in increasing the income of farmers in Gujarat, the Finance Minister said that natural farming is being promoted. He also said that a provision of RS. 7737 crore has been made for the agricultural welfare and co-operation sector of Gujarat. In which provision of RS. 2310 crore has been made for provision of various schemes of culinary system.


Provision of Rs.210 crore for various schemes of crop agriculture system.
1. Provision for assistance in purchase of tractors as well as various farm machinery under agricultural mechanization RS. 20 crore.
2. Provision for various projects in agriculture and allied sectors under National Agriculture Development Plan RS. 21 crore
. 3. Provision for maintenance of cows to farmers engaged in natural farming based on indigenous cows is RS. 215 crore.
4. Provision of RS. 12 crore.
5. Gujarat Natural Agriculture Development Board has been formed to give impetus to natural agriculture. The Board will work with farmers to increase agricultural production in conjunction with this campaign. 100 crore, provision for assistance to AGRO and food processing units under comprehensive agribusiness policy is RS. 100 crore
6. Provision under farmer account holder accident insurance scheme RS. 21 crore.
7. Provision to provide one drum and two plastic baskets free of cost to the farmers for multipurpose use RS. 3 crore
8. To increase production and reduce the cost of agricultural input by spraying fertilizers and pesticides using drones. 3 crore.
Provision of RS. RS. 3 crore.
9. Provision of RS. 50 crore for assistance in solar power fencing around the farm to prevent damage to crops by wildlife.
10. Provision for fertilizer storage to provide timely and sufficient quantity of chemical fertilizer to the farmers RS. 12 crore.
11. Provision for assistance on purchase of freight vehicle for transport of agricultural products RS. 12 crore.
12. Provision of RS. 10 crores.

13. Provision for intensification of agricultural research and education programs by agricultural universities RS. 3 crore.
