Announcing the importance of farmers, the Finance Minister of the Bhupendra Patel government said that a new scheme has been announced to provide interest subsidy to farmers for RABI as well as summer crops in the coming period.
Government of Gujarat is active in increasing the income of farmers
Stating that the government is active in increasing the income of farmers in Gujarat, the Finance Minister said that natural farming is being promoted. He also said that a provision of RS. 7737 crore has been made for the agricultural welfare and co-operation sector of Gujarat. In which provision of RS. 2310 crore has been made for provision of various schemes of culinary system.


Provision of Rs.210 crore for various schemes of crop agriculture system.
1. Provision for assistance in purchase of tractors as well as various farm machinery under agricultural mechanization RS. 20 crore.
2. Provision for various projects in agriculture and allied sectors under National Agriculture Development Plan RS. 21 crore
. 3. Provision for maintenance of cows to farmers engaged in natural farming based on indigenous cows is RS. 215 crore.
4. Provision of RS. 12 crore.
5. Gujarat Natural Agriculture Development Board has been formed to give impetus to natural agriculture. The Board will work with farmers to increase agricultural production in conjunction with this campaign. 100 crore, provision for assistance to AGRO and food processing units under comprehensive agribusiness policy is RS. 100 crore

 Ganga Swaroop (Swarupa) Yojan

In Gujarat Government’s yet another initiative for showing sensitivity and transparency; Chief Minister Vijay Rupani here launched the Central Government’s National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) Portal for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of monthly pension directly to 3.70-lakh widows, elderly and disabled women in 33 districts in the state. The amount was simultaneously transferred directly to the post accounts of the target women group with a click. The programme is being implemented in the state by Gujarat Government’s Women & Child Development Department.

‘Vidhva Sahay Yojna’ was renamed ‘Ganga Swarupa Yojna’ to lend respectability to the beneficiaries, the State Government had raised the monthly pension amount

 

Income Eligibility Criteria

Rs.47,000 to Rs.1,20,000 for women residing in rural areas.

Rs.68,000 to Rs.1,50,000 for women residing in urban areas.

This resulted in increase in number of beneficiaries from 1.64- lakh to 3.70-lakh.

Financial funds will be provided to widows in the state of Gujarat also through the implementation of this scheme. It is often seen that widowed women do not get proper respect in the society. Important aspects of a time deposit scheme

Anyone can open a fixed deposit account at the post office by cash or check.

According to India Post, in the case of a check, the account will be deemed to have been opened from the date of receipt of the check in the government's account.

SBI Fix Deposit

The maximum interest is 5.40%. According to Rule 72, if you invest in this scheme, it will take 13 years and 4 months for the money to double.

What is Rule 72?

Experts consider this to be the most accurate rule for determining how many days your investment will double. For example, if you have chosen a special scheme of the bank where you are getting annual interest, you have to divide 72 into 8 parts under Rule 72. That is, 72/8 = 9 years, which means your money under this plan will double in 9 years.

Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY)

Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY) is a Pension Scheme announced by the Government of India exclusively for the senior citizens aged 60 years and above which is available from 4th May, 2017 to 31st March, 2020.

Benefits of the scheme

Following are the major benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY):

• Scheme provides an assured return of 8% p.a. payable monthly (equivalent to 8.30% p.a. effective) for 10 years.
• Pension is payable at the end of each period, during the policy term of 10 years, as per the frequency of monthly/ quarterly/ half-yearly/ yearly as chosen by the pensioner at the time of purchase.
• The scheme is exempted from Service Tax/ GST.
• On survival of the pensioner to the end of the policy term of 10 years, Purchase price along with final pension installment shall be payable.
• Loan upto 75% of Purchase Price shall be allowed after 3 policy years (to meet the liquidity needs). Loan interest shall be recovered from the pension installments and loan to be recovered from claim proceeds.
• The scheme also allows for premature exit for the treatment of any critical/ terminal illness of self or spouse. On such premature exit, 98% of the Purchase Price shall be refunded.
• On death of the pensioner during the policy term of 10 years, the Purchase Price shall be paid to the beneficiary.
• The ceiling of maximum pension is for a family as a whole, the family will comprise of pensioner, his/her spouse and dependants.
• The shortfall owing to the difference between the interest guaranteed and the actual interest earned and the expenses relating to administration shall be subsidized by the Government of India and reimbursed to the Corporation.

 Utility Desk: Prime Age Vandana Yojana (PMVVY) has been launched for senior citizens. This is a pension scheme for citizens 60 years and older. The benefit of this scheme can be availed by depositing the amount together. The investment period is till March 31, 2020. Under this scheme, senior citizens are entitled to a monthly pension option with a guarantee of return of at least 8% for 10 years. If you opt for an annual pension, you will get a refund of 8.3% for 10 years. The scheme is exempt from GST.

 Up to Rs 15 lakh can be invested

The scheme has been implemented in collaboration with LIC so that senior citizens do not have to travel much and can easily understand the process. A maximum of Rs 15 lakh can be invested in it. At Rs 15 lakh, you will get a pension of Rs 10,000 per month.

 Important matters regarding the plan

Income Tax: The amount deposited in this scheme under Section 80C of the Income Tax Act, 1961 is completely tax free. However, the policyholder will have to pay income tax on the interest earned from the deposit.

Interest Fund: If you want to withdraw your pension every month, you will get 8% interest. If you want to withdraw the entire amount of pension once a year, the interest will go up to 8.3 per cent.

Spouses: The investment limit in the scheme is per senior citizen, not per family. If the couple wants, they can invest Rs 30 lakh.

Payment Option: The term of the policy is 10 years. You have the option of making quarterly, half-yearly or annual payments every month.

Medical examination is not required: No policyholder is required to undergo a medical examination to avail benefits under this scheme.

Understand with this example: You have invested 1 lakh 50 thousand rupees in this scheme and if you want to withdraw money every month, you will get 1000 rupees per month. That is 12 thousand rupees in a year. But if you want an annual pension, you will get Rs 12,450 per year.

When will the deposit amount be received: After investing in the scheme for 10 years, the deposit amount is refunded along with the final payment of the pension. If the pensioner dies within 10 years of purchasing the scheme, the deposit amount is paid to the nominee.

What documents are required?

To invest in PM Vandana Yojana you have to submit the following documents along with the form. A copy of PAN card, copy of address proof (Aadhaar, passport etc.), copy of check or first page copy of bank passbook should be given. So that the pension money can come into your account.

The Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) is a pioneering initiative of the Government of India which aims to accelerate India’s progress towards Universal Health Coverage and Sustainable Development Goals. It is the world’s largest fully government financed health protection scheme that seeks to cover more than 500 million people. PM-JAY seeks to ensure that entitled poor and vulnerable households across the country have financial protection and can access safe, quality hospitalization services so that no family is pushed into poverty as a consequence of ill-health. 

Key Features and Benefits of PM-JAY:

PM-JAY provides free hospitalization coverage up to Rs. 5,00,000 per entitled family per year through a network of public and private impaneled health care providers. PM-JAY primarily targets the poor, deprived rural families and identified occupational categories of urban workers families as per the SECC (Socio-Economic Caste Census) 2011 database. In addition, Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) active card holders can also avail PM-JAY benefits. There is no cap on family size and age as well as no restriction on pre-existing conditions for entitled families. These services are free and paperless for the entitled beneficiary family. National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship is a Centrally sponsored scholarship scheme. It is implemented by the Department of School Education & Literacy under the Ministry of Human Resource Development with the objective to financially support the meritorious students of economically weaker sections of the society.

NMMS encourages disadvantaged students to continue their studies at the secondary level by offering a scholarship amount of INR 12,000 per annum. Every year, this MCM scholarship is made active during the month of November and almost 100,000 scholarships are disbursed among bright students.

NMMS disburses a total of 100,000 scholarships every year at the rate of INR 12,000 per annum, i.e. INR 1,000 per month, to the selected students. Under National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship, the scholarship amount is paid by the State bank of India (SBI) on one go. The amount is directly transferred into the students’ accounts through Public Financial Management System (PFMS). The number of scholarships allocated to each State and UT is done on the basis of students’ enrolment in class 7 & 8 and their population in the respective states. The details of the NMMS amount are highlighted below.

NMMS – Eligibility

• Applicable only for the meritorious and needy students of India, this MCM scholarship scheme expects all the applicants to fulfil the eligibility conditions mentioned below in order to be eligible for the selection test conducted to award the scholarship.
• The candidates who wish to apply for this MCM scholarship must be regular students studying in class 9 after getting clear promotion from class 8 with a score of at least 55% or equivalent grades.
• The candidates must be pursuing education from Government/Local Body/Government-aided schools.
• For continuation of scholarship in higher secondary school, the candidate must score at least 60% marks in class 10 board exam.
• For continuing the scholarship in class 12, the scholarship awardee must get clear promotion from class 11 in the first attempt itself with a score of 55% marks or equivalent. For students belonging to SC/ST category, a relaxation of 5% is given in marks.
• The candidates’ annual family income should not be more than INR 1.5 Lakh.
• Also, those students who are enrolled in NVS, KVS, Sainik schools and private schools are not eligible for this MCM scholarship.

There is no other option like family for the healthy and balanced development of children. However, due to some adverse circumstances, it is not possible for the fatherless orphaned children to grow up in their natural family, thus raising the option in their children’s institutions. According to the sociological point of view, the institution can only be considered a last resort for the child. Thus, the Government has initiated the implementation of foster parents with a view to ensuring that their destitute orphan children are raised in an alternative environment rather than being raised in an institutional environment so that they can have a healthy and balanced development.

Eligibility Criteria: – 

Under this scheme, all orphan children between the ages of 3 to 6 years living in Gujarat, whose parents do not exist, will be eligible to benefit. The child whose father has died and the mother is remarried will have to submit the marriage certificate of the mother remarrying.

Rate of Assistance: 

Parents or close relatives who are caring for orphaned children will be paid monthly assistance of Rs.

Income limit: 

Annual income of the foster parents is to be more than Rs.1,3 in the rural area and Rs.1,3 in the urban area.

Terms of the plan

The beneficiaries raised by the foster parents will be required to place children between the ages of 4 to 8 years in Anganwadi and must provide compulsory schooling to children older than 6 years. If the child’s study is stopped, the support will be stopped.
A certificate of the Program Officer regarding ICDS (Integrated Child Development Scheme) for children going to Anganwadi and the Principal of the school concerned for the children going to school will have to be submitted by the 1st of July every year.
A certified example of the death of a child’s parents must be provided.

If the mother of the child is remarried and the child will stay with the mother, then assistance will be stopped.

The implementation of the scheme has to be done at the district level by the superintendent of the district’s children’s home. Sponsorship and Approval Committee (SFCAC) at each district level will have to review the recommendations and order the eligible foster parents to pay for assistance.

Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani is known for his compassion towards animals and decisive governance. Keeping in mind the welfare of the cattle owners of the state and making a path for Atmanirbhar Gujarat, the state government has announced a financial aid scheme for the registered Panjarapoles of the state.

How the benefits can be availed?

Only those panjarapoles which possess land as per the revenue record are entitled to the benefits of the scheme. Chief Minister Shri Vijay believes in transparent and full proof administration so that benefits reach effectively. Therefore, the online application facility is available through I Khedut portal.

In order to get the benefits of the scheme, interested parties will have to submit print out of online application along with land record 7/12,8-A 6 copies, Photograph of the land taken from GPS app with date and time to Gau Seva and Gauchar board within 30 days.

Benefitting organizations will be required to maintained the record of the fodder production and send it to Gau seva and Gauchar Vikas Board at the end of the year.

With the aim of transparent administration, CM Shri Vijay Rupani has instructed that the detail work with the help of GPS app for the photographs of the land is done before initiation of the task. Such photographs with the time and date mentioned in it will be required during claim submission.

Any other assistance component received by panjarapoles in last three years by Gau seva and Gauchar Vikas board will not receive the same in this scheme.

For storage construction, registered panjarapoles can avail benefit from the grant of Hon’ble member of Parliament or member of legislative assemble of their area on their own.

Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani has clearly instructed that for the cultivation of land among panjarapoles, irrigation canals and other water sources should be used in priority.

Due to sensible approach and compassion in heart for animals, CM Shri Vijay Rupani’s action will make sure that animals don’t strive for food during tough time and they get easy access to fodder.

Scheme Benefits:

1. Registered Panjarapole with1-10 hector land in possession will get assistance upto Rs. 10 lakh for tube well.
2. Assistance of Rs. 8 Lakh for solar electric panel with the aim to reduce electricity bill by promoting solar energy.
3. Assistance of Rs 1.25 Lakh for chaff cutter.
4. Panjarapoles with 4-10 hector land will get maximum assistance of Rs. 3.50 Lakh for green fodder baler so that grass can be stored in the form of bale.
5. Assistance of Rs. 5 Lakh for sprinkler irrigation system.
6. Assistance ranging from Rs 35 thousand to 1.05 Lakh for rain gun irrigation system.
7. It is important that during natural calamities, there is no scarcity of fodder for animals. With this sensible aim in mind, CM Shri Vijay Rupani has decided to provide these financial benefits to registered panjarapoles and expressed his sensibility for a larger cause.
8. Delegations from Panjapoles requested CM Shri Vijay Rupani regarding scarcity of fodder during famine and other aspects of trouble for the management of animal lives. Shri Vijay Rupani, who believes in to live, and let others live, expressed his compassion through this remarkable scheme for registered Panjarapoles.
9. CM has decided that registered Panjarapoles with 1-10 hectare land can get assistance up to Rs. 10 Lakh for tube well and can make their grass production.
10. In order to reduce the electricity bill cost with the use of solar energy, it is decided thatt registered panjarapoles with 1-10 hectare land can get assistance up to 8 lakh Rs. for solar electric panel.
11. Panjarapoles with 4-10 hector land will get maximum assistance of Rs. 3.50 lakh for green fodder baler and panjarapoles with 1-10 hector land will get assistance of Rs. 1.25 Lakh for chaff cutter.Green fodder baler is used to make bales of grass fodder so that it saves space in storage and can be easily transported from one spot to another for daily usage.

Government aims at making panjarapoles Atmanirbhar by making their land fertile. It is important that water reaches to the land so that fodder production can be scaled up. With the scheme for pipeline for irrigation, the benefit of Rs. 30 thousand for one hectare and Rs.20 thousand for each hectare land will be provided. Maximum assistance of Rs. 2.10 Lakh can be availed under the scheme.

Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani also believes in the calculated use of water for fodder production so that water wastage can be reduced. With this approach, panjarapoles opting for Sprinkler irrigation system for grass production will get Rs.50 thousand benefit per hectare with maximum assistance up to Rs 5 Lakh . For Rain gun irrigation system, benefits go from Rs.35 thousand for 1-3 hectare area,Rs. 70 thousand Rs for 4-7 hectare and Rs. 1.05 lakh for the area of 8-10 hectare.

The state government has allotted 100 Crore Rs for this purpose in the 2020-21 budget. It is important that registered panjarapole get benefit of this scheme through transparent administration. For this, digital arrangements are made for the process. Online applications can be made on I Khedut portal for this purpose.

Now registered panjarapoles can make their land cultivable and with the availability of water, fertilizer and seeds, the land can be used for fodder production for the animals.

Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY) Scholarship 2020-21 Eligibility, Last Date And Process: Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojna (MYSY) Financial and other scholarship/assistantship for meritorious and needy students of all classes for pursuing Higher Education in the state of Gujarat.

MYSY Scholarship 2020-21 Details:

• For scholarship in Diploma admissions, the candidate should have passed the Std X from a recognized board from state of Gujarat with minimum 80 percentile in the board examination• For scholarship in Bachelor degree programs, the candidates should have passed Std XII Science/ General stream from recognized board from the state of Gujarat with minimum 80 percentile in the board examination.
• For Diploma to Degree students the minimum eligibility criteria for availing the benefits of the scheme is a 65% marks at Diploma level examination from recognized university situated in the state of Gujarat.
• The candidates whose parents annual income is not more than Rs. 6,00,000/- per annul shall only be considered eligible for the said scheme.
• The State Government has approved the validity of income certificate for three financial years from date of issue. Accordingly, a candidate who has a valid income certificate need not have to issue it again for next three years financial years.

• For admission in Medical and Dental Graduate Level programs in Government Approved self finance institutes, candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 2,00,000/-whichever is less.• For admission in Engineering/Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Ayurved, Homeopathy, Paramedical or Veterinary Graduate Level program in Government Approved self finance Institutes, candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 50,000/- , whichever is less.
• For admission in BSc, B.Com., B.A., B.B.A. or BCA Graduate Level program in Government Approved self finance Institutes, Candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 10,000/- , whichever is less.

The scheme of providing financial assistance to the farmers for erection of iron barbed wire fence around the farm to prevent damage to the crops of the prolific wild animals was continued with the resolutions / amendments of this section numbered (1) to (2).

This plan can be read on Dumma: (3) of this section. With the resolution dated 31/4/2018, the work was transferred to the Rural Development Division under the Department of Panchayat, Work Housing and Rural Development. As per the proposal of Gujarat State Land Development Corporation to continue the scheme, in the budget of the year 2020-21, Rs. 1.00 lakh symbol provision was made. And for the year 2020-21, the reading was continued with the resolution dated 05/09/2060 of this department as per the reading number

GPS location tagging should be done at the time of verification. The implementing agency of this scheme will be Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation Ltd. Pursuant to this approval, if any item is to be procured, it shall be in accordance with the prevailing norms and rules of the Government. ) If any savings remain at the end of the year, they will have to be returned.
